Delije in Zapresic
Report from "croatian picnic"

07 Sep 2005

As you all know we started our way to Zapresic in thursday morning with 4 double deckers (mob about 300 strong) from our stadium Marakana. With our "friends in blue" which where taking picture of us and getting our names down in their notes we finally headed our way to croatia. Traveling to our border went in good atmosphere. And then some serious boring was coming on. About 12pm we arrived on their border where police starts taking man by man out of bus and searching and checking every single one of us and of course our documents. About 10 of us where stopped from crossing their border because they had higher level of alcohol in their blood and some just did not have a game ticket. After 2 hours getting seriously bored, we finally get going on. Some police officer tried to explain certain rules we needed to follow but that was just a laugh. The way to the game was boring, nothing happened, and it was raining all the time. Just few miles before the Zagreb few old-bill came into each of our buses to prevent any possible trouble that might occur (mostly preventing us getting out of the buses).
They took us around some woods and villages just because they did not wanted us to get on the time. And somewhere along those woods we were "attacked" for the first time. The attack was more funny than serious because some peasants lunched a rocket and missed and others were throwing handflares and rocks but it was a laugh again. On our way we heard that we were winning 1:0 already so we got in much better mood and couldn't wait to get there. We finally arrived there almost at half time and, bus by bus, people were getting out slowly and we were inside the "stadium". From the side where their "fans" were sitting we could hear only swears regarding serbs. Also police was ready to interfere anytime and we could see they could not stand looking at us. After we had one handflare on and few nationalistic songs it almost went off with police. Just before the very end of the match someone remembered famous pop croatin song "It's so good to see you again, to put my hand over your shoulders..." and that was the hit song till the end of the game. I will remember the look on their faces, pissed off but couldn't do a thing. On the way back it was much more interesting, the peasants were much better organized and they attacked us few times, but not successfully. They managed to break one glass and just few more to crack. Even one rocket hit us but no one was hurt. On our demand from bus driver to stop and open the doors police intervened. We got to our border around 1am and after few hours of waiting for police bullshit the finally let us in Serbia around 3. I would also like to mention that we haven't had any water for 10 hours but we survived. Around 7 am
we got back in front of our ground and went home.
For the most of us this was the first trip to Zagreb, but personally I expected more from the locals to do but I admit that their police was ready for us.
Till the next time in their "beautiful land"

Warming up for Europe
13 Sep 2005

Last night was the fresh start for out top boys. They made serious plan for moving forward with organising big mathches like this. All gypses that were selling fake and ugly clothes and scarfes were disabled to sell anything. Each fan got a paper where it was explaind how and what they should do before and durnig the game at the north stand. They were told that this was a place were people will support their team for 90 minutes and not passivly watch a game.

All main mobs were concretated in 2 middle sectors and led much better cheer than last time. More then 40 handflares during the game, few smoke grenades, supporters dressed "properly" and solid power that came out of the crazy north. After the game our top boys were satisfied with our perform tonight and said that we will become better and better each time at games big as this one.

The problem persist for last ten or more years because at 90% of our games most of the fans stay home and the boys that are there every game already proved how good they are and what is our place in Euro scale. We have to work on those fans that don't come that often and don't know all the rules they need to obey. But as time pass by we will be better and better and if our team wins in a two weeks Europe will see our top boys in the best light.

Solid show tonight..

16 Sep 2005

More than 12 000 fans at North Stand and about 3-4000 supporters and all main and younger mobs were present tonight. At the beging of the game our top boys - HEROES made huge banner over the central part of the north stand with red and white colors in the background...

After all these years...
19 Sep 2005

After few years of break, yesterday old rivals were back in the game again. "Small Belgrade's Derby" as it is called for our and their mob was always more than derby. It was a matter of prestige, being best in the city, top firm. Yesterday only our firm showed up and had a blast at their ground, at their end of city...

Montenegro on work day
22 Sep 2005

2 buses and few cars left on tuesday night from Belgrade on trip to Montenegro. Supporters from Uzice and Nis also came. Decent number of montengrian fans also. There was about 300- 400 of us on our terrace. Solid perform, with about 10 handflares, and new song was presented. Another 12hour drive back home.

Good luck in Portugal
25 Sep 2005

Another home game against Obilic and more than 1300 supporters at north stand. This was our last game before trip to portugal where our team is going to try to get into UEFA league. Pyro show, new song and positive atmosphere before 2 days long drive to braga.
Pictures and new song from tonight.

Delije in Montenegro
04 Oct 2005

Game against Fc Future was on sunday and since our top firm did not come back from Portugal yet the rest of our main and younger boys went on a 10hours long trip to capital of Montenegro. In the downtown our boys (25) met one of the Varvari mob (70) and they did little marathon race on their ground. At the stadium about 600 of Delije from all over the Serbia and Montenegro. Decent support, few handflares and a good time.

Report from Braga
14 Oct 2005

As you all know from Belgrade went 2 buses. We from Pancevo gathered around 22hours in one caffe in Pancevo and started with a beer. Of course we prepared with alcohol as everybody else. Buses started just around 3 am. Soon a problem with first bus occurred where....

Unconquerable Castle
15 Oct 2005

Same story in 21st millennium. We won the derby 2:0!!! Our North Terrace was full as usual for big matches like this. Our opponents didn't showed up, we didn't care. We were there to support our team and we did. All our older and younger mobs showed up in full numbers, and also our Orthodox Brothers Gate 7 from Athens (main mob had to go back because of the fog on our airport). Also main faces from Spartak Moscow (friends with our Ultra Boys) showed up and probably the friendship will grow in something more.

Winners
26 Oct 2005

We played in the city 60km south of Belgrade. There was about 1000-1200 supporters at our stand. Huge improvement in strong and continuously singing. Very good atmosphere among us because it looks like we are the winners of championship this year. More than 30 handsmoke grenades red and white and constantly green and red handflares all around. Pictures are in the gallery

4000 hearts for good luck
30 Oct 2005

Around 4000 supporters on the north terrace on the warm saturday afternoon. Lots of old faces showed up, youngers too, so the support was never better at this "small" game. Second half started with choreography and parole ' Let Europe fear us again' with decent amount of flares and smoke grenades. 20min. after the game was over we did not stop singing and players got back on the field and sang with us for good luck on thursday. You can see pictures here, also video clip and audio from 115 min.

3000 Supporters at practice tonight
02 Nov 2005

Over 3000 hard core supporters came tonight at our team's practice 24 hours before the first game starts in UEFA Cup against Basel. Flares, flags, new songs, good atmosphere and everything is ready for win tomorrow night. We will support our team from pubs all over the Belgrade and after that celebrate till morning. Few pictures can be seen at our official FC Red Star website. Casuals from Basel probably will not show up. Europe - HERE WE GO!!!!

Packed north stand at "away" game
09 Nov 2005

More than 3.000 supporters from Belgrade and major cities in Serbia came to small Belgrade's derby between OFK Belgrade and Red Star. Our north stand was full. We had standard show going on. Handflares, smoke, "herewego" and good support for our team that won by 1:0. Step by step we are getting to some serious numbers and Delije are truly growing into very good European firm. Time will show anyway. 10 pictures in gallery and video file here. Enjoy!

Singidunum-Taurunum
20 Nov 2005

Small Belgrade's derby between Red Star and Zemun was also the last match before 3rd round of UEFA League where our boys are traveling to Tromso. Besides cold winter day the atmosphere on North stands were on top level. Choreography, smoke grenades, flares, flags, new songs - everything was at our level. We wished our players good luck and hopefully few of us will help them make a win at the north pole!!!

Belgrade's triumph over Rome
02 Dec 2005

Forza Stella Rossa - like in good old days in Bari... This time AS Roma and their "ultras"  had to share a tear on our stadium and drink some nice Serbian beer. Tonight was OUR night. Both our boys on the pitch and boys on our CRAZY NORTH stand. They both showed a game of PRIDE. Choreography at the beginning was representing Delije (the 1989 year founded) hidden in army colors and on the main banner it was said: North Army is always with you!! Perfect singing in first half of the game, in second basically whole stadium was in trance after 2nd and 3rd goal.

Here we go
04 Dec 2005

After great performance against Roma, today was just a little bit better. Why? Because there were 3000 souls in the kop singing as ONE, having a laugh and a good time at the game. Another victory, both on the field and on the stands. Flares, smoke grenades, nice weather, and Belgrade's beautiful girls dressed in red and white colors. Another home game and then Europe trip again.

Delije in France
17 Dec 2005

We started our trip round 3 pm from Belgrade in 2 buses. The atmosphere in the bus was crazy from the very begging. We had all substances we needed for this long trip to France. While traveling trough Hungary we didn't stop at all, but as soon as we arrived in Austria we....

Delije gave blood
04 Feb 2006

On Thursday, February 2nd, Delije organized a blood donation for the people that desperately need it, especially after the huge train accident in Montenegro republic. More than 100 people showed up for donating the blood, but only 40 of them was accepted. This is just one of many humanitarian aids that Delije are going to organize this year. There are many people in Kosovo and Methoija that need our help!!! Be thinking about that!!!

New season - new victory!
19 Feb 2006

After yesterday's match against Vozdovac FC, new season has begun for Delije too. Because of the fact that the stadium was too small for all of us and the high price of the tickets, more than 200 Delije couldn't enter the stadium (31 arrested). After quick lead after only one minute of the match Delije celebrated with a couple of handflares. Home supporters Invalidi were in good numbers too (400). As for us, the break between two seasons left mark on our atmosphere when singing was about. Also, Delije were placed almost around the whole stadium so we couldn't get synchronized.

Victory in Derby
19 Feb 2006

After the football match we all went to basketball Derby against partizan bc. Our stands were full, especially because police didn't allow us to use the smaller stand behind the hoops. Of course our enemies across were allowed to do that even though they had enough space on their wider stands. After couple of songs they had a "quiet time" because of death of their member. During that time period we didn't stop with our support. As soon as third quarter started they started singing too, so the "war" begun. As the match was ending in our favor they were getting quieter. The hit song on our stands was "come on red star, come on red star, fu*k gravediggers" and "You are Red Star's cetnik, Milane", "You are going to fu*k all partisans Milane" - a parody for one of our players that used to play for partisan.

Trophy!
20 Feb 2006

In final basketball game against Hemofarm BC, Red Star easily won the game and celebrated first trophy this year, as the players said. More than 1000 Delije came to support our team and remind the president of Hemofarm club of his immoral act 2 years ago when police brutally started beating Delije at the match in Vrsac, where Hemofarm plays its games. At the end of the game players entered our stands and sang with us.

First game at Marakana
26 Feb 2006

More than 3000 supporters came to the first match in new season against Borac Cacak FC. At the begining of the second half, the atmosphere at the North Stand reminded of brasilian carneval. Handflares, smoke grenades, huge flags, banners, and baloons were just a part of the program yesterday. Delije proved that support for the Red Star will be the best ever this season.

Victory in a village
06 Mar 2006

After 0:3 win of our team, we are more than sure that the trophy is going to Marakan stadium this year. The village where the "stadium" is placed is about 2 hours driving north from Belgrade. Very good numbers of Delije from Belgrade, Novi Sad, Vojvodina and of course the rest of the Serbia. There were few memebers of Gate 7 and Fratria with us at the stands. Couple of smoke grenades, handflares, good-old Serbian alcohol rakija, and positive atmoshpere both on the way there and back.

Belgrade's Hools Derby
13 Mar 2006

Matches between Red Star and Rad FC were always considered as one of the most interesting hool derbies. After almost two years of abstenece, both mobs (Delije and united force) had finally a chance to "see each other". Delije came in fantastic numbers (more than 5.000) and opposite side in standard 300. This game was also meant for Delije to celebrate 61st birthday of our club. Flares, drums, loud singing and positive score against old rival on the field made Delije feel even more satisfied.

Ultras.gr magazine # 1
15 Mar 2006

Ultras.gr has printed out first issue of their new magazine. Since the brotherhood between the Ultras.gr and Delije-Caffe has been made long time ago, it was decided that the space for Delije is left in every issue. The presentation of Delije included brief overview of the last half-season with a few of the best pictures from our gallery. We thank our Brothers and invite them to send us their material in order to make their presentation or even Ultras.gr corner.

Handball Derby
17 Mar 2006

Marvelous victory of our team against neighbours at Banjica SC last night. More than 100 Delije came to support Red Star. After the game players celebrated victory with Delije.

Another victory
22 Mar 2006

Even though it was Tuesday, Delije showed up in huge numbers. More than 70 younger supporters entered late and had to be separated because there was no more room at "visitor's stands". In total about 1000 Delije at the stadium. New song was presented, several red and yellow handflares, and not satisfying game from our team. After the game police showed its brutality again and arrested several Delije for "informative speech".

4:0 Victory at Marakana
27 Mar 2006

More than 3.000 Delije came to support Red Star in their newest victory against FC Future from Montenegro. New song, pyro show, huge banner "Pride of City - Delije Sever", also small banner of Spartak Moscow friends were just few details from this game. Also, each supporter received a flyer with the instrucions for next coming match - a derby. If the banners and flags are not going to be allowed at partisan stadium, Delije will exit the stands and leave the famous derby to police and media to "enjoy" the match and mafia to continue its "hard work" in domestic football.

0:0 at the Derby
02 Apr 2006

More than 5.000 Delije came to support our team in a Derby that used to be the most important match in the season. Not any more. Just a few individuals in domain of Serbian football are demonstrating their power and criminal activity from one week to another. Management of partisan fc, police, government, media and many others were against Delije and organized support yesterday - but at the end WE came out as winners. Delije left the north stands of partisan stadium at the half time because repression that is going on for several years is just getting stronger. We had to let people and media know how does it feel when there are nobody to support our team - which by the way we LIVE for. Our team had positive 0:0 which will probably lead to the new trophy and CL qualification games. As for Delije, each match we are growing as a strong unit and we will fight for something that we truly believe in and something we LIVE FOR.

A step closer to a title
10 Apr 2006

Another victory of Red Star against Smederevo FC of 2:0. Delije showed up in good numbers as always this season. We had several banners addressed to media and their protection of mafia in Serbian football.

Police brutality in Nis
12 Apr 2006

More than 500 Delije arrived at train station early in the morning in order to go to Nis, a semifinal cup game against Radnicki FC. Also there were several buses and cars from Belgrade and other major cities in Serbia. Delije arrived in Nis few hours before the game and went toward the stadium. At the game, one of our best mobs "Nislije" from Nis celebrated 20 years of the group. After the half time, several Delije got out of the stadium trying to find something to eat and drink. And then police steps up and tries to make a big deal of having a beer in café. Delije told them to xxxx off but they started beating people. More Delije got out of the stadium but there was at least three times more police than supporters. The police violence continued all the way to train station and inside the train. Instead of traveling for 5 hours, Delije arrived in Belgrade at 8 o'clock in the morning after 10 hours of traveling. Few top boys got arrested in Nis

CHAMPIONS!!
24 Apr 2006

Beautiful day on Marakana stadium. More than 6.000 Delije came to celebrate another trophy in Serbian championship against FC OFK Belgrade. Crazy North truly showed its face on nice saturday afternoon. The trance on North stand lasted more than 120minutes. Handflares, flares, smokes, songs, victory.. A night we all going to remember for ever.

Another victory in Zemun
01 May 2006

Red Star confirmed the fact against FC Zemun on saturday that championship title goes to Marakana with good reason. More than 700 Delije arrived in Zemun to support our team. Delije prepared 2 banners as a response to Taurunum Boys (supporters of Zemun) choreography. Also we had more than 50 smoke grenades in different colors, 10 handflares and 2 drums.

Delije in Zeleznik
06 Jun 2006

More than 200 Delije managed to enter the BC Zeleznik basketball arena and about 1.000 couldn't enter the building. Since all the tickes were sold before game even started, Delije came in second half of the game. Red Star won and next game is going to be held on Wednesday and hopefully we will meet our biggest enemies partizan in the final round of national championship.

Defeat in Zeleznik
08 Jun 2006

Red Star lost 4th game against Zeleznik last night and has to go into 5th game which is going to decide the second finalist in national championship (against partizan). More than 300 Delije came in Zeleznik town but only 180 managed to enter the place (tickets were 1.000 din. aprox. 12euros). Very strong and loud support from our KOP. Our team lost with almost 30 points but we still sang as stronger as we could. Next game on saturday night. We are ready, but the players?

Vicotry in 5th game
12 Jun 2006

Red Star finally got through last 5th game agains Zeleznik BC. More than 2.000 Delije came to support our team. While our team was down by 4 points we shook the stands and the court with our support. National finals are against Partizan. Delije HERE WE GO!

Derby no.1
15 Jun 2006

In first game in final playoff against partizan, Red Star lost the game. Even though Delije were not able to buy any tickets for the match somehow more than 500 Delije showed up in Pionir. We supported our team as much as we could and defended our name with pride and honor.

A.C.A.B.
19 Jun 2006

Second game of final round of national championship was stopped in the 3rd quarter after police squad attacked Delije. No words can describe what was happening during the "basketball game". More than 20 supporters were arrested and more than 40 seriously injured (broken bones, fractures, etc.)
As always media said that "Red Star hooligans were responsible for incident". We know the truth and we will fight for our freedom!
