Hi Ed!

Slavoljub Muslin is new/old Red Star coach. He was last time 2 years and 8 days our coach. With Muslin Red Star wins 75 times, draw 19 times, and 9 times have lost matches.

We was yugoslav champioship winners for 2 times and we got one Cup of yugoslavia under the Muslin. Confusedampion

Abot players... It's not for sure anything at the time.
Ivan Gvozdenovic living the club because he is out of contract for some time, and he vas decided to leave the Red Star and find some club him self. I think that he will join the Brugge (France), but I'm not sure.
There was rummor that Nemanja Vidic living Red Star too, but Newspeapers "Zurnal" write that Vidc will stay. We will see.

This is all that I know at the time because I wasn't in Belgrade. Sorry about my bad English lenguage.
See you!

Hello my friend!

Hmm... water-polo...
We (Serbia and Montenegro) are European champions. We have played final game against Croatia (old enemy Smile ) and we have winn against them 9:8!
After the match was finished the croatian fans have attacked Slovenian police (Championship was played in Slovenia), and also serbian people (but they wasn't hooligans, just serbian supporters (womans, childrens, etc)).
That is all at the time. I am little tired now and I will write to you about this water-polo match tomorrow. I hope that you understand me. Thank you. ;pivo

C-YA!

Hello Ed!
As I promissed, I wrote the "rapport" about water-polo.

The problem about the final game developed because "Delije" (Red Star fans) took some important flags from croatian fans named "Torcida" (Hajduk Split supporters) before it was known that final game would play between Serbia&Montenegro and Croatia.
When serbia&Montenegro and Croatia came to the final of Europian championship, a few thousend (about 3000 of them) croatian supportesrs came to Slovenia.
Many of them needed revange because they lost flags.
Well, if you know that "Delije" (Red Star) would not like national team (because old flag and old national song (on serbian named "Himna", I don't know wich is the word in English)), that were reasons because we didn't come on water-polo game.
If we came the fights were more interesting. Smile

According some informations, a few serbians, who live in Slovenia, gethered on the squere early in the morning and they fight with croatians in few times, but some of them were arrested.
During the game croatians were good in supporting, they made good sight... But, why not...?
They were alone, Serbian supporters could not come inside, and their players were winning...

At the end of the game, the incidents were start. At first they throw verious thinks on theirs players and than on our players. One our player was hurt.
But, when the police involved thay ran away, they escape.
Very soon a little group came in thepartment for journalists and VIP persons, and they attacked Serbian journalists. There was ex basketball player of "Partizan" Ratko Varda with one his friend who is kick-boxer. Nearby they, there were Serbian military minister Tadic and minister Svilanovic with bodygards.
In this battle croatian hooligans were beaten.
One of them fall down the wall and breaked his head.

At least police made that croatian go aut. Our players were deported to the hotel with police security. There in the hotel they ricived gold medals.

In Belgrade there was great party, but there was also incidents.
Serbian fans and all the citisens made great party at the heart of the sity.
Some of them attacked Croatian ambassy in Belgrade, they took Croatian national flag, burn it and put on the top of ambassy Serbian flag!

It was a few interesting days...

See you and writte when you can.

Hi Toni,
Thanks for the update. It is pretty hard to understand from our point of view that trouble and big fighting can start from a water-polo match but i suppose feelings run deep over there.Since i adopted Red Star to support as well as my own team(Leeds of course) i have read quite a few books on ex-Yu and Serbia in particular and i think i understand how things were a bit better than most people over here,so i always stick up for the Serbs if it ever comes up.
One thing i would still like to know about R/S is who exactly owns the club ? Is there a membership like Real and Barcelona or does a business own it ? Let me know.
Cheers

Hey Ed! What's up?
Maby it is little confuse :zbunjen to explene who owns R/S. Red Star, as a sport soceaty got wariouis clubs... (Football club Red Star, basketball club Rec Star, water-polo club Red Star, tenis club, and many other...)
All of them are sport soceaty Red Star. Nobody owns this soceaty. Red Star got president, managers and this some kind of membership. Red Star does not get finances from state (like as Partizan), nither from city (Belgrade), it comes by itself and by donators.
I'm glad that you support Red Star and Serbia. In this days it is very rare. Thank you!
I like Leeds. I often watch Leeds :ruke games because on serbian television there are alive rapports of Premier league all the time.
Tell me what is your point about Leeds. Who will come and who will leave the club?

See you!

Hey,
What do you want to know about Leeds ? We are still in a mess.No money and the People who run the club are still lying to us.Robinson has been sold to Aston Villa, which is a relly shitty club and Kewell is going somewhere next week.As for new players who knows ? If they accept buttons as wages they might come but i doubt it.Its gonna be a long winter.

Hey Oz boy,
Harry Kewell is a rat who is only in it for the money so he can fuck off where ever he wants(except for Man u,that would be too much). And Viduka can go as well if he thinks he can get more money at Barcelona.I am sick and tired of all these players who show no loyalty to the club or the fans and just think of all the money they can make. How many thousands of pounds do they want the fucking bastards.
There,i feel better now!
Cheers
